WEEKEND PEEKS PT. 2 - UNCOMMON OBJECTS

Austin, TX is a city filled with interesting shops. While most of our time there was spent connecting with friends, we did get to spend an afternoon strolling down South Congress, taking in some of the interesting sites this area has to offer, enjoying lunch from food trailers and checking out a few of the aforementioned treasure troves. Uncommon Objects is hands down one of the most interesting places I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. With an assortment of goods ranging from taxidermy to vintage clothes to locally made jewelry to cow skulls and more, I could have spent hours looking through everything. The space is divided into different themed booths, giving the same curatorial sense of an incredibly eccentric antique mall. We hope to be able to visit Austin again one day and, when we do, I'll definitely be returning with extra space in my suitcase for some uncommon goods!

  1. Oh, I loved this place. I think I still have a state necklace charm from Uncommon Goods.
